The Self-imposed Battelfield

Thoughts, dreams, imaginations are some of life’s most precious gifts. It is not until we allow these facets to cloud our judgment, that they become our enemy, an adversary.

Lately, I noticed in my personal life, I allow minute contingencies to get the better of me. I erupt and allow my emotions to gush through my crater (aka my mouth) and allow destructive words to pour out. To put it in laymen’s terms; it isn’t okay!

I am a fully functional adult and I have no right to behave in such a childlike manner.

The very root of this behavior is, I overthink Everything! I allow the negative things that I cannot change dictate what I dwell on. It’s like a broken record is playing in my mind every time I spot a flaw in humanity.

My mind turns into this interal argument. I am both the plaintiff and defender and it is emotionally and physically exhausting. I need to cease this needless drama and focus on the positive in the world.

I thank God each day for all that he has done in my life, but I also need to make an effort to step off of the Battelfield, that is my mind, and step into his presence. It is only until I make the conscious desicion to stop zeroing in on the negativity and surrender myself to the Lord, that I will find everlasting peace.

~love always, the seeker

Don’t you love when your days are productive? Crossing off a todo list is just so exhilarating in my opinion.

Lately, I have been coming up with ideas and planning for the future. I’ve been praying to go into a ministry and just submitting all that I have and all that I am to God.

I’m so excited to see what God has in store for me.

Today is full of tasks and routines that may seem mundane, but all of this will  pay off in the end.

Have a blessed rest of your day.

Happy Resurrection Day!

2,000 years ago, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ rose from the dead. He died so that you and I can have a chance at life. God bless you all on this special day, God loves you!

“I pray also for those who believe in me through your message that all of them may be one, Father,  just as you are in me and I am and you. May they also be in us that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one; I in them in you in me. May they brought complete unity to let the world know that you have sent me and have love them even as you have loved me” John 17:20-23 Happy Resurrection Day!!!!

People Watcher

I am the type of person who really enjoys examining those around me.

Everyone is a uniquely designed individual and it fascinates me to witness those quicks first hand.

It may sound a little creepy, but it’s all in good intention. I feel by understanding others, it helps me better understand who I am and more importantly, who I am in Christ Jesus. Until next time,
